This has been a time of heightened security concerns for the Jewish community; thankfully there have been no incidents or threats at Temple Beth Israel. Over the years, there have been security upgrades in the TBI Education Building, some apparent to all, some within the programming.

We are at the beginning of Phase One of a three phase security upgrade program at TBI. Phase One will focus on the Education Building. The Phase One upgrades include additional cameras, an upgraded panic button system, and additional fencing. TBI reserve funds will partially fund some of Phase 1. We need to raise an additional $15,000 to complete the Phase One upgrades, with the intent that Phase One will happen as soon as possible. (Phases Two and Three will be implemented as additional funds are raised.)

As you know, fees paid for TBI Preschool and Beit Sefer only cover the basic expenses of operating a these programs.  We are now seeking your financial support to implement the Phase One security upgrades to protect all who use the TBI Education Building, particularly our children

Thank you very much for considering this request. Please contact the TBI Office if you have questions.

  • Membership Pledges/Fees

You may pay your membership pledges, fees, and other Temple obligations on this page. This enables us to balance our budget, strengthen our religious, professional, and administrative staffs, and provide the meaningful programming and services we all enjoy and expect at Temple Beth Israel. Giving today ensures that our congregation will enjoy many tomorrows. Each gift is important - each gift is meaningful - your generosity is most appreciated.
